Have you every visited the Sand Dunes of West Lake by boat? Spend a morning or afternoon enjoying a 3 to 4 hour kayak or canoe tour. After a dry-land safety introduction, we will take-off from Wellington and paddle across West Lake to the sandy dunes of Sandbanks Provincial Park for a picnic lunch on the beach. Depending on the weather conditions, we will take a short portage over the dunes so that you can enjoy the sights of Lake Ontario while paddling home.

Full Day Trips with Lunch and Guide start at $149 per person

Sandbanks Vacations, in collaboration with Duck Dives and the notorious area naturalist Terry Sprague, is proud to be the exclusive provider of  trips to Main Duck Island. Located over 10km off the south eastern shores of Prince Edward County, the island boasts a history and character like none other. From having Queen Elizabeth grace the shores of Main Duck Island for lunch in 1984, to the illustrious history of the airfield, light tower and other historic buildings, this day-long adventure is not one that you will want to miss.
Tours include transportation to and from Main Duck Island, lunch, and a guided tour of the island. Additional transportation to and from your accommodations can also be arranged.

8 Hour Guided Tour--> $149 per person (minimum 4 persons)

We are currently exploring the possibility of hosting community Kayaking sessions. Anyone would be free to drop in on a set night (possibly Thursdays at 6pm). Kayaks would be rented out at $15 per person. We will provide a guide and would hopefully have volunteer guest guides join the sessions once in a while.
